Slender steel bow chiseled along the top edge with a vine like pattern, retained by a pair of molded irons, fitted with a later string with bone spacers.  Hardwood tiller of characteristic form, finely carved with winged beasts amidst foliage on a stippled ground. The edges carved with guilloche ornament, overlapping scales, chevrons and quatrefoils. Fore-sight formed as baluster pillars with acanthus chiseling at their base, mounted on rectangular columns and a folding arched back-sight chiseled with acanthus leaves.  A well carved mask above the trigger and original octagonal pommel.  The front finial chiseled with acanthus ornament. Equipped with a set trigger.
