With three stage barrel turned and belled at the muzzle, octagonal breech engraved ‘London’ and punched with a line of beadwork at the rear, engraved tang, signed border engraved flat bevelled lock with stepped tail, figured half stock with beaver-tail carving around tang, border engraved brass mounts comprising trigger-guard incorporating the bayonet-release and decorated with a flower-head on the bow, side-plate with a flower-head and swag, butt-plate-tang with scrollwork, brass-tipped ramrod with iron worm, (iron parts with light patination, stock with a few compression marks), London proof marks.
