Pair Of Flemish Flintlock Pistols circa 1730-40

Though unsigned, these beautiful pistols are most probably from the workshop of Gilles Massin of Liege, as they exhibit his treatment of relief chiseled scrollwork against a gilded fish-roe  
background on barrels, locks and mounts, creating a luxurious overall appearance, 16 bore 10 1/2” two stage barrels with cannon turned muzzles, 17” overall length.
